One of my favourite pubs in Wallingford, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer.

Always a very decent pint and welcoming atmosphere recommend a pint of the gravity.

We stayed here overnight in the 3 available bedrooms. They were all very clean and comfortable. As we were going to a wedding locally we needed to leave our luggage earlier than the 3 pm check in. Lynn was very welcoming and accommodating The breakfast was ample and very tasty. Beau the border collie kept us entertained. We parked our car at the cattlemarket car park.

Lynne made us feel very welcome and the room #3) was compact but had everything we needed, including a fan which was a boon in the hot and humid weather. The breakfast was excellent and we had a lovely evening meal in The Royal directly across the road, which is also owned by them and has been newly refurbished.
