The Catherine Wheel - South Oxfordshire

While at Rewind South in Henley, my daughter and I decided to stop by the Catherine Wheel for breakfast and to catch a football game. Despite the busy pub, we were pleasantly surprised by the quick service. Our food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and was absolutely delicious. We were able to help ourselves to tea and our additional drinks arrived promptly as well. The atmosphere was fantastic for watching the game. Overall, we had a great experience at Weatherpoons and we thank them for it.

I stopped by for lunch on a hot day and found that the best things about this restaurant were the comfortable temperature, affordable prices, and friendly staff. However, the quality of the food was disappointing. The burger I ordered was small and had an odd taste. The restaurant was spacious but lacked atmosphere. Overall, while it is not the worst option, it may not be the best choice for a special occasion or to impress someone.

I went to this restaurant for my husband's birthday and we probably won't be returning anytime soon. The young man working behind the bar on the left-hand side was rude and unfriendly. A little politeness and gratitude can make a big difference. However, when we went to the other side of the pub to the bar, the staff there were friendly and pleasant.

We went at noon today, and had a job to find anywhere to sit, it was full of students not buying meals or anything. Bringing in their own sandwiches and perhaps one drink between them on the tables. There must have been 40 ish students. We will not be going back there.

Mid portions, usually W food but many Ls. Raised their prices too, terrible value compared to the old prices.
