The Greyhound - South Northamptonshire

The food is excellent and the portions are not for the faint hearted. I had the fish and chips, and the chips cooked in goose fat were to die for. The atmosphere was great and the banter with the locals and the owner made for a superb evening. Well worth a visit but would recomend booking, especially if you're going for Sunday lunch.

Saturday lunch stop….Best pub burger I have ever eaten. Prime Wagu beef, absolutely delicious. Amazing chips and onion rings to accompany the burger. Great beer, very friendly staff and dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

A memorial service was held at the church, we needed a venue for guests refreshments, also accommodation for two nights . From the very first phone call, Paul was extremely helpful and understanding of what was required. From the moment we arrived he was considerate and kind in helping us to get settled. The accommodation was spot on with all essentials provided including a bowl of fresh fruit. Our meals were freshly prepared and delicious and generous portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food for our guests, 34 in total was amazing, everything fresh and tasty, with a good selection, including a curry that was very popular and special provision for vegetarians. All in all, excellent on all fronts, both accommodation and catering. Throughly recommended and huge thanks to Paul and his team.

Visited today for a lunchtime drink we both decided to try the fresh crab salad. Absolutely delicious with really generous portions. Can’t recommend highly enough. Friendly atmosphere a proper country pub/restaurant with beams, fireplace lots of character. Only 10 minutes from Central Milton Keynes.

The Sunday roast was lovely and plenty of it. Extra vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. We really appreciate Paul accomodating us past there last orders and close to there closing time. Service was still the very best. Its the second visit for us and it doesn't disopoint. Cant wait to book the afternoon tea available Thursday Friday or Saturday. I think I'm going to take my aunt this Thursday. Highly recommend!
