Chung Tai Chinese Restaurant

We got take away last night here the prices were reasonable and food was pretty good. They do good fried rice we had spring rolls, mongolian beef and sweet sour chicken. Yum we will be back!

We stopped off here for dinner and while it may have lacked atmosphere (seriously bright lights and white walls) the food was really tasty and the waitress was possibly the most friendly person in the world. We ordered steamed dim sims, which were good, and the special 'shandy' which was two prawn cutlets, rice, sweet and sour pork and chicken with cashews. The 'shandy' was a great way to sample a couple of dishes without over-ordering and left room for the deep fried ice cream (which was also delicious). I would recommend this as somewhere to stop for tasty, good value, classic Chinese food with a smile.

Dropped into Chung Tai last night after netball for a takeaway, haven't been there for years since the previous owner. Ordered the Dumpling Soup off the Specials list, it was the best, the broth beautifully flavoured and obviously home made, tender crisp veges and tasty dumplings, my husband ordered the Combination Soup which again was filled with quality meat and veges and again this wonderful broth he also ordered an omelete which was of such a generous size he couldn't eat is all and again of excellent quality. Overall, Lucky Mossman to have such a quality Chinese restaurant!! We will be back!!

Weekend fair seems to be just fantastic not sure why but it was as usual above what we had previously eaten there few years ago must be the new management and someone by the name of Rose in the kitchen whatever the reason keep up the good work, have had some pretty rough noodles in the past but was so presently surprised.

We had takeaway Chinese and took it back to our Motel which was just around the corner. The service was good and the meals we had were lovely. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
