First time in Lanark and Tea Time was recommended. Very friendly and welcoming staff although it is not a huge coffee shoo they have plenty staff. Lovely fresh clean surroundings. Hubby had a latte and a morning roll egg enjoyed both said the latte was lovely and hot I had tea and a fruit scone again no complaints very reasonable will return when back in the area and try lunch.
Stopped in for lunch in Lanark and was immediately impressed by the fresh and clean appearance of the cafe. I ordered the Italian bruschetta, which came with a side of coleslaw and crispy salad. The dish was both tasty and beautifully presented. My husband enjoyed his generously-filled baguette as well. For dessert, we chose the rhubarb sponge with warm custard, served in a cute little milk bottle. It was absolutely divine, the best sponge pudding I've had in a long time. I appreciated the care and pride that the staff showed in their food and service, providing us with a truly enjoyable experience. Excellent job, guys. Thank you, Gina.
My mothers side of the family are from Lanark, and was visiting the town for the first time in ages. Was in need of something to eat, but mainly for on the go, so popped in to Tea Time to grab a morning roll and coffee to take away. Great little cafe just at the bottom end of Lanark main street, and sure of a warm welcome from the great staff as soon as you enter. Ordered a breakfast roll to go and was freshly prepared in no time and was VERY tasty. If in Lanark again, will be sure to visit again.
Had a great club sandwich with a really nice side salad . Good selection of food on menu. Sit in or take away. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
