Contribuiți la feedbackI would strongly advise avoiding this "bar/restaurant" as if you were avoiding the plague or, in today's context, COVID. The appetizers are suitable for young children, the main dishes are more fitting for teenagers who have not yet hit puberty, and if you desire fresh salad, you may need to wait until the market opens or settle for flavorless, limp greens. Despite these shortcomings, the worst part is yet to come: the managers resort to name-calling and become confrontational if you express dissatisfaction with the food. The manager is arrogant, belittling, and flat-out rude, dismissing any feedback and allowing staff to brush off concerns with a simple "ok" before walking away. The service is virtually non-existent, much like the flavor of the food.
Bring back Brian. Only under 25s in favour with the manger but apparently his last night. Disappointed locals. 3 females left alone despite asking for a taxi.
£10 for a tiny bowl of rice with a spoonful of “chilli” poured into the middle of it?! Are you having a laugh?? Nothing else. Just rice and “chilli” lol... No cheese. No sour cream. Zero flavour. Just a tiny bowl of plain rice with a spoonful of microwave chilli, how sad. I was regularly presented with 100 times better for £1.50 a head when I was a student. Staff were great. Toilets were absolutely disgusting
I occasionally will go for a wonder around bothwell and have a drink on my own somewhere ... this place has a very local only place vibe. When I walked in I got stared at and the entire time I was there I could feel eyes on me ... prices were average and staff were pleasant but the old men who haunt the place give it a bad atmosphere . I have been in a few times at the weekend when friends have been visiting me in bothwell where it’s very busy . Which is nice except local ned boys punting coke in the toilets but if am honest that’s most pubs these days .
We discovered this pub while visiting relatives in the area from Leeds. It's a fantastic pub with friendly staff and delicious food. The bartender was extremely accommodating with my food allergy and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great dining experience. We have also dined at their other restaurants and have always had delicious meals. This pub is a great place to have as a local spot.
