The Olive Tree Eatery - South Lakeland

We love stopping at The Olive Tree while driving on the A6. We had two delicious meals there. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.

The food at this restaurant was all freshly cooked at home and very delicious. My usually picky and fussy son, who rarely finishes his meals, ate everything on his plate and even commented on how much he enjoyed certain dishes (which he never does). Not only did my son enjoy the food, but we all thought it was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

I recently visited Milnthorpe and stopped by two wonderful charity shops as well as a great cafe. The service at the cafe was friendly and quick, and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed some tasty chips, which were a nice treat since I don't often have the chance to eat larger than average chips. My only issue was that, although they allowed me to order something not on the menu, I think there should be more vegetarian options available. Approximately 11% of people choose not to eat meat at all times, so it's important to cater to their preferences. Despite this, the cafe is a beautiful place and worth a visit, especially if you're checking out the local charity shops.

Very well presented eating. excellent staff. was back last week. the service was bad. the order was wrong and the hot chocolate was not fed more than hot milk. really disappointing. I hope that was one.
