The fish pie and curry were perfect, really friendly staff and a great place to relax. It feels like a traditional country pub compared with all the other hipster places in the lakes. We will definitely visit again!

Excellent lunch stop with large car park. Staff really friendly, everything arrived quickly. The Caesar salad was delicious and well presented. I got the starter size which was plenty for lunch.

Tried the Brown Horse for the first time and was not disappointed, the food and service were both great! Both our starters and mains were very good, the service was friendly and efficient prices reasonable We will definitely be back!
