Maya's Mexican Grill - South Lake Tahoe

Very small place, and food is overpiced. I ordered a Menudo $15.99), and it was more soup than meat. Asda tacos have no flavor. Service is bad. Do not recommend this place in Lake Tahoe.

If I had a choice I gave them -0 they add a 15% service fee for individual orders so if you order 5 different kind of tacos you get charged 5 times 15% plus if you get a soda or 2 sodas you get charged 15% for each soda and on top of that you pay with debit and still ask for tip... I ended paying 41.54 7 tacos and 2 sodas plus a 5 tip that i personally put on their tip bucket so...47.54 for 7 tacos....pls be careful with this people....DO NOT EAT THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU....lol to top taste is not great...and they answered to my review ...shame on them... THIS IS ANOTHER WAY OF STEALING FROM COSTUMERS IT LOOKS LIKE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING CHECK OTHER REVIEWS PLS

The carnitas didn't have any flavor and the tortillas are extra small. They also charge 15% service charge per item you order. I will not be going back ever! Food is no good!

I asked for a veggie burrito with no onions and they told me that wasn’t possible. Usually this is the case if something comes pre made or mixed, so I was confused. When I asked why he said “they” refused to serve it without onions and there’s nothing he can do about it. The attitude of the staff was pretty aggressive about it when I questioned why they couldn’t just take the onions out. I figured I could just pick them out, but my burrito was mostly onions. Plus a 15% charge for a takeout order? It also took 25 min for my burrito and my boyfriends 3 tacos. Won’t be coming back here, doesn’t seem like they care about making customers happy. EDIT: look how they respond to bad reviews from customers. How childish. This place sucks all the way around.
