The Chequers Inn - South Kesteven

We always make it a point to dine at this restaurant after our family trips, even if some family members have picky tastes. The atmosphere is always great, and there is a beautiful garden area to enjoy while you eat.

Today was our first time dining at The Chequers and we were very impressed! We were looking for a nice lunch spot as we traveled north and we were not let down. The pub is beautiful, the staff is very pleasant, and the food was excellent. The menu had something for everyone and the dishes were beautifully presented and served piping hot. We also appreciated that the white wine was perfectly chilled, unlike many other pubs. We will definitely be returning and are already looking forward to it. Thank you to all the staff at The Chequers for a wonderful experience.

We visited this restaurant for my birthday, thinking it was a gastro-pub. Unfortunately, most people were eating fish and chips, burgers, and fries, which should have been a warning for me. The steaks were overcooked and raw in the center. The dessert was decent, but small, and we left feeling unsatisfied and hungry. We were disappointed with the food, but the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! we came for an evening family dinner to celebrate a birthday. the slow Bratpork bell was absolutely first class for taste and presentation. beautiful eating also for children!

A fabulous country inn serving amazing food with a warm and friendly welcome. Would definitely recommend a visit.
