Olive Garden Italian - South Jordan

A typical chain. There is nothing overly special or overly terrible about it. I do believe the quality of their proteins has improved over the past several years though. The service was okay, and to their credit, management was present and involved.

It wasn't too busy today, but the waiter serving us today didn't serve us much at all.

We had a really bad experience with a lady called Candace that works there. We felt discriminated by her. She asked us for both of my sisters age for the kids menu. We’ve been to so many different Olive Gardens in salt lake and they never ask for our age to get something from the kids menu. And Candace said that you have to be younger than 12 to order the kids menu and my sister that is younger than 12 she wanted the kids menu. Olive garden is great, you know it, I know it, nuff said.

What happened to the Olive Garden that used to be? The joy, the excitement, the aroma.... The cuisine is average at best. Bread sticks and salad can't sustain this establishment much longer. The most recent service we had experienced was not great either. Appetizers forgotten about, wrong drinks, and not just no refills, we weren't even asked about refills. If you are wanting good Italian food, there are much better options out there. I would suggest trying out something that is not a chain.
