Quite why simple questions must be responded to with rude sarcasm is a mystery. We understand the business is up for sale and look forward to returning when it's been sold.
We stayed in The Mash Tun. A quirky, cosy apartment attached to The Bluebell Inn. Extremely well equipped. John made us feel very welcome (even a Christmas tree! The pub itself was lovely too. Would highly recommend for a couples get away.
The Bluebell Inn has everything you need for a restful break. John greeted us on arrival and made us feel immediately at home. Travelling in our Motorhome we stayed for 4 nights on the Caravan Motorhome CL site. A quiet peaceful spot to relax in after exploring the local area and further afield. John generously lent us his Fiat Panda to run around in which gave us the freedom to leave the Motorhome set up. We thoroughly enjoyed two delicious meals in the restaurant, tender succulent steak with a wonderful garlic mushroom sauce and tasty Tempura prawns. The second meal was equally as tasty, flavoursome lamb and chicken and bacon in a gorgeous white wine sauce. The welcome and atmosphere at the Bluebell Inn is one of the warmest ones we’ve encountered on our travels. Highly recommend a stay here- beautiful individual rooms available too Congratulations to John, Jen and their team for the special place they have created. Hope to visit again
Having been to the Bluebell inn for a lovely meal last Saturday evening , which was superb and could not fault at all, great atmosphere, clean, comfortable and welcoming staff, we decided today to try the Sunday carvery . Well what can I say, brilliant food, service and all at a fair price . Would really recommend this place , and would say as far as pub food , any restaurant etc , this is definitely becoming a favourite place to relax and have a fine meal . Booked family in for Mother’s Day treat , because I know it’s good Well done John, Jen and all the staff.
A pub that brews its own beer with a fantastic restaurant a really good CL campsite +2 overnight camper stops. In a very peaceful location a 1 mile walk on the flat [it is Lincolnshire] to local airfield great to watch light aircraft taking off and Landing and maybe tea and toast in Airfield cafe. Now at this point you are thinking What's The Downside yes unfortunately PUB and Restaurant closed monday and Tuesday. It is remote it is rural very quiet ADULT only but we love it.
