Kings Kebab House - South Hams

I just wanted to share that on Tuesday evening, my family and I decided to take a break from cooking and ordered kebabs from King Kebab in Kingsbridge. It was delicious! The food was great value and really satisfying. A big thank you to Karen and her team for their friendly and excellent service.

The service at this restaurant is very friendly. The kebabs are amazing, with the added bonus of courgettes and peppers that are always tasty. Sometimes, they even give a little extra to our dog when he's with us. I highly recommend this place!

Kings Kebab changed hands late last year and the couple who own it along with the staff are really lovely. I've been a regular weekly visitor along with a couple of mates on a Thursday night for the last year. I've got to say the lamb and the chicken kebabs are absolutely superb. Not only is the meat beautifully marinaded but it's all good cuts and best of all they're massive! I bought a lamb and chicken one week and it took me three goes to eat it. In fact it was the next day when I did eventually finish it. The salad that comes with it is ample fresh and crisp with lovely cherry tomatoes and the sauces are generous and a good range. We asked them to make us some extra spicy chicken strips which they were only too happy to do and they've become a firm favourite (they're not on the menu but I kid you not they're the best I've ever had from a shop and gobsmackingly good value). The food is cooked to order and they do get busy because they're popular but absolutely worth the weight. We usually pop in the Hermie opposite for a pint (or two) whilst we wait (only £3.60 a pint for Guinness and it's a great pint). Be a little bit patient when they're really busy and you may well be rewarded. If you haven't been there for a while or ever then you really should give them a go.

I have had an amazing chicken kebab from this place on a previous occasion but not tonight. The person taking the order was perfectly lovely but most of the chicken was burnt and dry. Disappointing. Despite pre ordering, had to wait quite a while for the order. Never mind, new place opening soon in KB, a bit of competition never hurt anyone.

We love the food here. They have a great selection at very reasonable prices. The chicken fillet burgers are the best. Service is always quick and efficient. The kebabs are DELICIOUS! Plentiful with generous slices of meat. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Perfect location within town easy to access with parking available 10/10. Thank you. We will return!
