I felt like I needed to write a review because I was so impressed with how the landlady and landlord managed to sort out such a lovely evening for my nans birthday. Me and my family were meant to be going for a meal at a restaurant down the road and when we got there they said they didn’t have a booking. Even though we had email confirmation. We decided to leave and walk up the highstreet and found the Malthouse. The owners were hosting a burger night and managed to fit us all in even though they were busy. To what we thought was going to be a ruined evening turned out to be even better than expected with amazing food, amazing hospitality and a brilliant evening. Thank you so much

I visited last Wednesday for one of their burger nights, two amazing meals for £15 ! I can’t fault this pub from the food, to the class A customer service and good quality pints. Brilliant atmosphere and an all round great experience! 10/10

The Malthouse, Thornbury is worth a visit any time of the year with amazing burger night every Wednesday (seriously delicious). Situated in the centre of the medieval market town this Georgian coaching inn still retains its historic vibe. The landlord and staff are friendly and helpful so worth a visit for sure. I highly recommend it.

I went to the Malthouse on Wednesday for their burger night. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef Mark (landlord) Burgers were class, top tier, service was impeccable and drinks are unbeatable. 10/10 would come again.
