Lin Seng - South Gloucestershire

I have no idea what’s in these sauces or even how they get the colour, however this chippy has been turning out the wonder stuff since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It’s equivalent to being cast away on a desert island for many years and finding a candy chocolate bar lapping in the surf on your morning forage for food. And all served up by a owner that’s clearly on first name terms with Indiana Jones and inherited the fountain of youth, or swapped it for the wonder stuff recipe.

Been going to this place since I was old enuff to walk with my parents I now live in wales and travel back on a regular just to have the delicious amazing food from here especially the gravey AMAZING and I now take my children here and they love it to . Amazing great food 100% recommend this you will be satisfied.

40 years on and still the best chippy around, used to run there from Filton High school dinner times to get in the queue, pie chips gravy and a portion of scrumps if you were lucky.

Not the best, but good value and menu. Worth a visit. All items are cooked to order. Staff friendly and helpful.

You won't find a gravy sauce any better than at Lin Seng. Great family run take away whether you want Chinese or English the food at this place is good.
