One of the stands at Borough Market. It has one of the large green market signs hanging from the market roof with turnips on it. There is usually a big queue to pay and order and then you get your wrap order. They also sell fresh products wholesale, but it is not on the display, probably you need to ring for them. There are about two different choices of packages with cooked vegetables in them. Halfway through the evening, one of them often sells. The packs are juicy. They are rolled so that you can eat them while you run around as there is a stand, there are no seats. Sometimes the service is a little brusque/offhand. It's under five pounds for packaging, value is okay.
This restaurant is located at Borough Market and has a big green market sign with Turnips on it hanging from the roof. There is usually a long queue to pay and order your wrap. They also sell fresh produce wholesale, but you may need to inquire about it. They offer two different choices of wraps with cooked vegetables, but one of them tends to sell out quickly in the afternoon. The wraps are juicy and convenient to eat while walking around since there is no seating available. The service can be a bit brusque at times, but the value is good as the wraps are priced at under five pounds.
Turnips transforms into a high-quality restaurant thanks to the fresh products they offer during the day. While it may not be the most affordable option, they offer a fantastic vegan tasting menu that showcases vegetables in a creative way. The atmosphere is charming, especially when the market is closed at night, and they provide blankets and heating for added comfort. The staff is exceptional and the food is top-notch. Overall, a delightful dining experience.
