Big burger with pulled pig. Good service, fast and fast. Simple selection of beer. Clean place. Nice presentation.
Located on the main street, this pub is a delightful discovery. Despite its small size, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The establishment offers a wide variety of authentic ales and a traditional menu.
We had a farewell lunch for our son-in-law who is moving to work in the UAE, and the food at this restaurant was amazing. Three of us started with the scotch egg appetizer, while one person had the fish. For our mains, we ordered a chicken pie, a beef pie, a lamb pie, and fish and chips. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was and what a great value it was. We all chose dishes from the lunchtime menu, and The Harrington restaurant exceeded our high expectations. Great job!
I am not one to criticize Sunday lunch buffets, but there is definitely a noticeable difference when the food is prepared to order. The Yorkshire puddings, in particular, were outstanding. I am pleased to say that the bustling kitchen at The Harrington, where I was seated right in front of, was running efficiently with a strict regime of fresh meal preparation. The lamb shanks, Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked carrots, and homemade gravy were all delicious. We all left with clean plates for both our mains and desserts. Bravo to the chefs at The Harrington. J+S+W
