My partner and I stopped by for lunch today and had a really enjoyable experience. We both ordered crispy squid as our starters. I had the lamb shank for my main, while my wife had the venison linguine. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, with one even displaying an excellent dry sense of humor. I couldn't have asked for a better meal. We will definitely be returning in the future. Service: 5 Location: 4

While walking along the Icknield Way, my companions and I stopped at this charming village pub for a quick lunch. The large garden area was a lovely setting, and the service we received was friendly and attentive. We ordered from the bar menu and were delighted with the delicious food, which we found to be great value for the quality. The overall atmosphere suggested that this establishment is well-managed, and I would definitely recommend it to others. I give it a 5-star rating for service and location, and I particularly appreciated the quiet setting.

What a find. We loved the cosy atmosphere, great food and were made to feel so welcome as a large family group. The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable, the family room was ideal with two children. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality- I’ve no doubt we’ll be back!
