Pauline's - South Burlington

Pauline's is the epitome of delicious food! We always make sure to order their famous crabcakes whenever we visit, which is typically two or three times a year. We would love to go more frequently, but the restaurant is a 4 1/2 hour drive away from our home in Ottawa, Ontario. Whenever we are in the Burlington area, Pauline's is always our top choice for dining out.

Service marginal. Had to ask for bread. Took 1 1/2 hours to get dinner. Not worth it.

Great food had the wild mushroom gnocchi and a glass of cabernet sauvignon, and had a great time. The atmosphere was great, with candles on each table and a great server who made sure we had everything we needed.

We needed to have dinner early to make a later engagement. Having been to Pauline’s before we knew they had an early bistro menu. We had to request it as it was not offered upon arrival despite coming at their opening time and by the time the waitress came told us we could order from it in the next 15 minutes. Our dinners were hot and tasty, the service other than the initial issue was good. We would eat there again.

The food was delicious, the waitstaff was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice.
