We are frequent, devoted diners who live nearby, and while we have other options, we keep coming back here because it truly is the top choice.

The food was clearly overcooked but they still served it. I had stopped ordering the chips before because they were usually poor and only lukewarm, but they were okay this time. I returned after a long break because of the convenient location, but I will now explore other dining options.

Fish overcooked, chips overcooked and an owner who 's thinks he 's a bit of a 'geezer ' when actually he 's just obnoxious. Bit like going into a village pub when you 're not a local. GX deserves better.

The fact that he often sells out towards the end of the evening on Friday and Saturdays tells you all you need to know. Healthy fish and chips cooked perfectly.
