Contribuiți la feedbackI have visited the Charming Squire restaurant several times, as a local in Brisbane, and it always seems to be busy. I have attended work functions here and always had a fantastic experience with great beer, food, and atmosphere. However, when I went for a late Sunday lunch in March 2019 and ordered from the Bar Menu, I found the food to be average, with stale buns for the burgers. I was also disappointed that pizza was not available before 5pm. On the other hand, when dining in the restaurant for a pre-show meal, the food has always been fantastic with a great wine selection. My tip is to skip the bar menu and opt for the restaurant instead, where you will be impressed with the quality of the food. Make a booking in advance, especially if there is a popular show at QPAC, and don't forget to try the delicious Iron Bark Coal Pit offerings.
The Charming Squire is a fantastic place to meet up with friends for drinks. The live music really enhances the experience. While the food is just average and a bit expensive, it is still a great spot to enjoy drinks and live music.
The Charming Squire offers a unique twist on traditional pub fare that is sure to keep you coming back for more. While the prices may be slightly higher than your average pub, the quality and presentation make it well worth it. The service is polite and efficient, the portions are generous and delicious, the beers are full of flavor and freshness, and the atmosphere is relaxed with a live band playing in the main bar area at just the right volume to enjoy without being overwhelming.
A wonderful place to visit on a early Sunday evening during my recent trip to Brisbane. Met a school friend who is settled in Melbourne and visited the South Park area.<br/ <br/ I wanted to try their craft beer and settled for the 4 Wives Pilsener , comfortably seated.<br/ <br/ It was almost a full house and entertaining music played by a three man band.
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. We ordered the baked camembert to share, it was amazing. Got three different breads to dip in and tasted so yummy. I ordered the scallops as a main with a side of coal roasted carrot and broccolini. All three dishes were incredible. The carrot was crispy and the broccolini and goat cheese went so well together. The scallops were fantastic. They had mashed potato, raisins and pickled elements and they all paired together so well. Such amazing meals and great service. Highly recommend coming here!!
