Pig 'N' Whistle West End

Food was ok, but absolutely terrible service, wait staff were extremely rude. Any request we made seemed like a huge imposition. Very disappointing, will not be back.

All food was very good except for the garlic bread which was dry and tasteless, especially considering it was on the menu as rarebit. No rarebit taste at all.

Modern and clean. Spacious with lots of room between tables.

We waited over 1hr 20 for our food and they forgot to send one of the dishes.

Having booked a table for 8 via Open Table in advance, we chose to eat here as it was close proximity to a show we were booked in to watch at the Brisbane Convention Centre. We allowed a good amount of time, to have food and head over to the show in time for doors opening. Unfortunately the experience at the Pig Whistle West End was diabolical and doesn 't really deserve a 1 star in our opinion. We turned up to the restaurant to be told the table we had booked for 6pm wasn 't available and it was a 'first come, first serve basis '. They shoved us on a dirty table in the bar area, where we were told to scan the QR code to order food and drink. When scanning, the app advised it was a 45 minute wait for food which wasn 't ideal however we ordered quickly as we knew we had some time to play with. After waiting 45 minutes we asked where the food was..... only 10 minutes they said. Another 10 minutes past, we asked again, this time they say 'you are 4 dockets to go and its no longer a 45 minute wait for an 1hr and 20 '!! At this point we had literally 30 minutes until the show started, we decided to leave very hungry and very disgusted with the lack of customer service and care for their customers. The team were good enough to give us a refund but took an admin fee for each transaction which was an insult in injury. They were also rude and told us, 'haven 't you been to a busy restaurant before ' Well..... we 've never been to Pig N Whistle West End before and I can guarantee we won 't be returning to any of these shoddy franchises again. Don 't waste your time or energy going here unless you prefer to go hungry.
