Rice was crunchy and flavorless, the scoops used for topping are tiny and they only give you one scoop of each. They told me hummus was included with a bowl, then charged me $3 extra for it, which I didn’t notice until I’d left the MSC. The pita bread lamb are good, but I definitely don’t think I’ll be going back.
The staff kinda sucks, but it’s honestly one of the most consistent/shortest line places in the msc for lunch. Good mix up from other food options on campus.
Really good food if you order the right thing, line is never long even at peak lunch hour, love going here
Pom and Honey is one of three food establishments in the basement of the Memorial Student Union on the Texas A and M College Station Campus. It is your basic Mediterranean pita wrap/grain bowl/green bowl establishment. The olives are canned. The spicy hummus is unpleasant. The pita are inedible. The rest won't kill you. You can count it as lunch. If you want to eat healthy you can go to Smoothie King which is the next stall over. They will make you a veggie drink that will give you your vitamins and antioxidants. If you want something that tastes good, you can go to Panda Express which is two stalls over. The lines are much shorter at Pom and Honey than at the other two establishments. I wonder why.
