La Central Panaderia - South Bend

This old world bakery will not disappoint. Upon entering I was greeted with gorgeous colors , smells and smiles. The pastries are delicious and the choices are infinite. I highly recommend seeing for yourself.

I do television at wnit in South Bend once a month and I go from Michigan City to South Bend through Western Avenue and I passed by this bakery many times ...I grew up on the East Coast where there are bakeries everywhere.. not here anymore except for... Le Central Panaderia.... Western Avenue had High hopes and then after the pandemic many stores have closed ...but this bakery is one of a kind that you MUST visit ...the offerings there are fabulous the baker is working diligently 7 days a week, and he is very kind Do yourself a favor.... stop in don't let the area stop you from participating in a great place and great bakery with items made fresh on the premises ...Happy New Year

Fantastic baked goods for unbelievable prices! The owner and staff are all super friendly and will help you out with any questions. Definitely check it out! There's more to this gem than the outside would lead you to believe!

OMG made it! Definitely, how often I can.. over the weekend! A wide selection of delicious pastries. The smell as you go was so deligjtful...yum! I really wanted to buy 1 or 2 of everything.
