Coach's Sports - South Bend

I use to go to main street pub before coaches took over and I think they have made some great improvements. not only their bartenders are very friendly (rodney in particular,) but they have a great selection of drinks and beer for choice. my favorite part of the coaches is the fact that they have so many fun games to keep them occupied, they have darts, pool, basketball, air hockey, and I think some others. they have something to eat and drink for every day. I think this is a great place to bring some friends, but even better for big groups at the weekends to watch sports games or jam to a dj.

Service was good. Food was a little pricey for the portion size, taste was average. Mustard BBQ sauce was very weak. One hour wait for baked beans and no spinach and kale salad available, notified 20 minutes after order was placed.

Rib tips were like beef jerky, mac and cheese was cold, 3 requests for butter before we got it which buy that time the cornbread was cold, 2nd request for a beer was forgotten ignored or otherwise lost...... ie food was forgettable and the service horrendous ... don't waste your dime or time

Friendly, quick staff. Ordered the 1977 burger double not triple and it was HUGE! A single Patty would have been plenty. Atmosphere is fun and a great place to watch multiple sports at.

Eating and service is always great. you have to remember that it is a bar grill, and should not expect that the top of line 5 stars eating with gold sprinkled on it! Do not believe that eating is not delicious and satisfying because it is, I would prefer to coach’s than a buffalo wild wings or another sport bar in the opposite!
