The Saloon Lounge - Sousse

Fantastic place, great atmosphere and music, is an absolute must to visit.

Visited Saloon twice on my holiday to Sousse and the 2 experiences couldn't have been more different! First visit on wed 14th sep, good drinks, waiter was friendly, decent price, no complaints. Second visit Sat 17th Sep, terrible service, drinks were weak to the point where I was questioning if there was any alcohol in them at all, and then charged much more per drink than on wed!(not sure if there was a happy hour wed) Just felt like I was being ripped off as a tourist!

We had no problem entering at 23:00. Just asked if we can come in and the bouncers showed us we can. We had nice table for two without reservation. Drinks ok, but no rum. Beer ok, pizza was amazing! Very friendly waiter, he made us hotspot, so we could pay with card. If you put away your hotel bracelet and dont dress as typical tourist colorful shorts, flip flops etc. they will treat you with respect. I understand this policy, because no one wants cheap tourists from cheap hotels to take a table and sip one beer for an hour. If you look cheap, dont demand to be treated differently.

Absolutely terrible customer service and misinformation. They expect you to spend a lot of money and so many restrictions. You get turned away when you have a reservation via text too! Tourists, avoid at all costs! Go to Iron Bar instead, you will be welcomed with open arms.

We had a blast! Live musuc after midnight and a lot of fun.
