La Balade Gourmande - Soudorgues

We have eaten at La Balade Gourmande perhaps10-15 times in the last 2 years and we have never been disappointed. This is one of the best restaurants for miles around, for the quality of the meals, value, the incredibly warm welcome, the quality of the ingredients and the delicious and friendly experience. The setting is enchanting. A must go to restaurant in the Cévennes. Well worth a detour to this beautiful part of France.

We had a excellent lunch here despite it being over 40 km from where shown on the trip advisor map! Still we probably would not have found out about it had it been in the correct location. We had a beautifully presented meal with fresh ingredients

We were at this restaurant for a birthday lunch September 13, 2016. The food was super, lovingly prepared and presented. Excellent wine list although we ordered the house wine and found it to be good! I recommend any tarte fine the chef cares to make, the salmon appetizer, and the duck and lamb dishes. Well worth the trip (lovely countryside.) The owner speaks some English and loves to chat. Reservations recommended. A rewarding experience.
