My family took us here and some of them didn't know it was there for at least 35 years. Between the large roundabout of Les Bruyéres, covered with heather, and the Jardin des Plantes on La Rue de Canadiens, with street parking, we parked on the Schindelbahn between the trees directly outside, where it looks as if they were serving people under the covered terrace when it is warmer. This neighborhood is known on site as Les Bruyéres, although not listed on cards, and the Auberge is not confused with other restaurants with Bruyéres in their titles in this area. In addition to another couple, our party was the only diners on a Saturday noon. They had 3 course menu of about £17, but we had a la carte as we did not want any appetizers or cheese. You also make a children's menu. My family usually conversate in French, so that I tend to change from which I helped to my environment of Lilac and mauve, traditional lace curtains, Dickenzian type wooden doors and windows with triangular small glass panes, the view of the beautiful courtyard garden on the back, a naturally illuminated dining room about 30 very comfortable, although they may have about 20 more, with dressed horse dishes, copper pans and copper pans. We had touringados of beef pan fried in a sauce of green paprika, which softly wound to popping, Lyonnaise potatoes, bundles of beans in very smoky bacon and what they called a herby omelette, a tiny slice of pure green vegetables boiled in the pan. My partner had kidneys in the mustard, what she ever tasted, she said, my beef melted in the mouth. Our puddings were black-stream sorbet, cafe legois and I chose a palate that was a very soft toffee ice cream in a chocolate dish, like a chic ice cream, with liquid caramel oozing out. The lady served our wine during the meal and her husband brought our coffee to us, and he and his wife shook hands and wanted to talk to us how we were English. We were inaugurated in a small bar area to pay, and they gave us free pens with the name of the inn, as we went.
