We used The Girl and the Fig for our wedding event in Sonoma, CA at Cline Cellars. The food was fabulous and all of our guests raved about it. We worked with Andrea during the planning process and Sara the day of. From the beginning of working with them, to having our private tasting picking the food, to our event day we couldn't be more impressed. Thank you for the awesome food and service!

Andrea and the entire girl the fig crew was a joy to work with! Not only was the food AMAZING (Our guests raved about our food- from the apps to the desserts, and everything in between! , but the entire evening was perfection. We enjoyed working with Andrea every step of the way. From our tasting to the big day, Andrea was professional, communicative, helpful and a wonderful team player! Thank you Andrea for making our wedding day so wonderful. My husband and I highly recommend the girl the fig for your upcoming events, and we are already looking forward to dining in next year to celebrate our anniversary!

Pre Covid we could not get into this restaurant regardless of time of day so would go across the street to el dorado kitchen. After picking up wine club vino we tried to get into el dorado at about 2:30. Hostess was not just cold but told us we could wait for a table when empty tables were open we are in our 60's so no tatts no clue her issue but gladly won't go back. Fortune for us we tried girl and the fig sat at the bar for drinks and appetizer cannot say how welcoming was hostess and cj and candace Duck liver pate was the best great margaritas and the staff was so kind and engaging. Don't care how long the wait will be back to girl and the fig

Terrible business practices. Planned my 2020 wedding with Girl Fig caters. They were more than helpful at changing our date due to covid postponement. However, when we finally got a new date we found their prices went up 20-25%, and therefore put them out of our budget. When we tried to get back our $3800 deposit (which we made in good faith that we'd be getting the contracted rates), they refused. I strongly feel that since the terms of the contract changed so drastically, we should be entitled to a full (or at the very least a partial) refund. They've refused and stop answering my emails. All of the other vendors we worked with on our 2020 covid postponed wedding have been reasonable and helpful, I truly wish I could say the same for girl and the fig! I'll be reporting to the BBB.

The Girl The Fig catered for our wedding back in September and I've been meaning to write this review since. They were one of the best vendors we had on our wedding day and I was really impressed by their quality and service. The food was incredible! I didn't expect our wedding food to be that good. The short rib and salmon were delicious, and everything was beautifully prepared. Honestly, I think the food was even better at the wedding than at our tasting. All the passed hors d'oevres were very good too. The only issue I had was one of the junior bartenders must have opened all of the bottles of red wine we had pre-purchased (and it wasn't cheap! cabs were $85/bottle), and so we returned the next day to find many full bottles of corked red wine that we would have loved to save. The staff were professional and attentive. We got so many compliments on the food and the bartending staff. They did a fantastic job with our custom specialty cocktails. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special! I would recommend GATF to anyone planning their wedding in wine country.
