Contribuiți la feedbackMy experience at Green Bakery was not entirely satisfying. While the photos had me excited, the actual desserts were a bit of a letdown. They had a limited selection of tiramisu, tarts, and cupcakes. I tried a matcha tiramisu, which was delicious, but the chestnut cake I ordered was rock hard from being stored in the fridge or freezer. The "milk tea" I ordered turned out to be just a teabag in a small cup of soy milk, which was disappointing given the high price. While I don't regret visiting Green Bakery, it may be worth exploring other options, especially considering the prices.
Located in a pleasant and quiet area in the Minsheng community, this restaurant has a cozy interior that makes you want to stay for a relaxing afternoon. The staff provided clear instructions for takeout, including heating instructions. This update is from a previous review dated March 12, 2023.
How can you advocate for vegan desserts when a cold, dry brownie costs NT$100? At least warm it up before serving it to your dine-in customers who are required to spend a minimum of NT$120. Their pitifully small scones are NT$60, so I’ve never had the inclination to try one. Even their Plants Fan VP offer is only 5% off as opposed to most other participants (10% off). I guess I’m not their target market.
Taipei has a plethora of bakeries, but many use unhealthy ingredients like bleached flours, hydrogenated oil, fillers, and preservatives. This particular bakery stands out for its use of high-quality and organic ingredients. Instead of hydrogenated vegetable oil, they use coconut oil. Additionally, they offer gluten-free options. The afternoon tea at this bakery is delightful, with a selection of herbal non-caffeinated teas and warm scones and cakes.
The environment is comfortable, the ingredients are all natural or organic, and the appearance looks beautiful
