La Farandole - Sommières

Exactly what I wanted. A decent crepe and a read of a book. The day schools go back in France so less crowded. Would have been even better with salad automatically served with the crepe

Well, this is our favourite watering hole for Saturday market day! We've been eating at lunchtimes here for many years, off and on and they have a very honestly priced, good food choice for lunch. Varied, quick, but all home-cooked....perfect when you've got to get back to work. Great salads, and fantastic savoury crêpes.

We had an evening meal here in July 2009, it's a great place for a snack type meal - Burger and chips, Spaghetti Bolognese - that sort of thing. During the day it is a coffee, crepes and cake Cafe. Worth a visit!

We stopped here a few times for coffee as it is set in a very attractive square in Sommieres. Just the place to relax and watch the world go by. The final visit was for a quick light lunch. And were thoroughly put off by all the staff smoking between each service, with an ash tray by the food counter

We had lunch here on Saturday during the market. Excellent steak hache and frites.Reasonable prices. Very good service and friendly, helpful staff. Between us we overcame the language barrier. Very good for families.
