Supreme Kitchen - Somerville

I almost don't want to write this review, as I refuse to wait in line for breakfast and I fear good reviews may draw more people in. But, I'm sure the owners would appreciate the added business. All of the breakfast foods I've tried have been phenomenal (specifically the supreme breakfast sandwich), and I love refilling my own coffee there.

This quaint neighborhood diner offers hearty portions and a fantastic breakfast selection. They feature a variety of daily specials, such as omelets, stuffed French toast, and Eggs Benedict. I tried the William Wallace omelet, which had fresh apples mixed in for a delightful sweet and savory flavor, while my girlfriend opted for an omelet filled with avocado, broccoli, and spinach. The service was courteous, and self-serve coffee was available. While it may not be a must-visit brunch spot, it’s a lovely place for locals to enjoy a meal.

Additionally, it's one of the rare places in the Boston area where you can enjoy authentic southern-style chicken-fried steak and sausage gravy.
