Outback Steakhouse - Cancún

I ordered the Filet as a special treat but was sadly disappointed. It was not the quality I expected from the Outback. I now remember why I quit going to the Outback at home. However, my husbands meal was satisfactory so all was not lost.

Great home away from home! After having Mexican for 3 nights in a row, this was a nice reprise. Blooming Onion and wings were yummy and great service! Prices were more American like, but it was a nice treat!

Ok...im in Mexico and I wasn’t in the mood for anything traditional. I’ve visited enough to expect disappointment when trying to eat like an American abroad. I assumed Outback would be a safe choice for burgers.....nothing great....just safe. I was wrong. very wrong. On the upside, I was there to watch the NFL. It’s a great place to do that and it was well taken care of. If you visit expecting anything similar to what you’ve had at home, you will be disappointed. Expect typical American fare served in Mexico.

Despite the lack of customers in the restaurant, the service was terrible. In a touristy area, most of the staff did not speak English and when we requested the bill, they had added an extra charge. However, the food was delicious and the ambiance was decent.

The portions of food were definitely value for money, the 10oz sirloin steak was delicious. We definitely left with a full belly which is always good. Our waiter, Josue, was really helpful and friendly. He definitely made it a smooth experience for us. Would definitely recommend.
