Mike's Homemade Pasta - Somerville

Why is it so hard to get good Italian food delivered in Somerville? The Angel Hair was awful. ZERO flavor. Mushy wet pasta with no flavor or texture. The half teaspoon of sauce couldve been red food coloring for how little flavor it had. Just dont order from here, the positive reviews have to be from people who just had food for the first time. Id give zero stars if I could.

The Steak And Cheese has no flavor. The steak was so bland it was just texture. The Homemade Arancini Ala Parmigiana was soggy. It all blended together in mush. Flavor was good.

The Chicken Saltimbocca was delicious! the portion was huge, it could easily feed 2 people. The garlic bread and small side salad were a much appreciated surprise. I couldnt believe how much food there was for such a very reasonable price

The Lasagna Ala Bolognese was just meh no real flavor and lack of sesoning. The Pasta Carbonara was downright disgusting and had no flavor either but was just oil and poorly cooked. Garlic bread was also just toasted sub rolls gross.

Mikes might be the worst restaurant Ive ordered from on DoorDash... The Lobster Ravioli was dry as all heck, and the sauce was dry too (not sure how they managed to make sauce dry, its sauce! . A wasted lobster... The Homemade Arancini Ala Bolognese needed *a lot* more seasoning. The rice was soggy, the entire thing just tasted like bland mush. Where was the seasoning? Some more (or any black pepper wouldve made it exponentially better. The only redeeming factor was the complimentary bread... But thats a low bar to set. The bread saved this rating from a one star to two stars. I regret spending my money on sad, sad food.
