Masala Square Indian Kitchen

Best service! If you are looking for authentic food, this is the place for you. We ordered noodles and they brought us a delicious salad instead. I loved that my meal started with complimentary papad. A must-visit restaurant.

I ordered Shahi White Meat Korma and Naan. The Naan was large, but I felt that the portion of Korma was small for the price. I noted that the Korma was labeled as hot, but it was actually more of a medium spice level. Despite this, the food was tasty and I would definitely order it again. If I could, I would have given it 3.5 stars.

I had never tried Indian cuisine before going to Masala Square, but I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, and the food was even better. We started with the paneer wings which were full of flavor and can't forget the fresh naan. We had the Channa Masala which was a superb vegan option and the chicken Tikka Masala which was also great. We also had a mango lassi which was delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, plenty of seating and could fit a large party. There is also a full-service bar to grab your favorite drink. We parked for free behind the citizens bank since we dined after hours and just crossed over to the restaurant. The servers and staff were very friendly and kind. Food came out quick and was large enough to take some home! This is the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have come across near Union Square! The stuffed naan was delicious too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and funny. I will definitely be returning to take on the Tikka Masala challenge. Food rating: 5/5.

To start off, the service at this restaurant was excellent. The server was extremely nice and friendly. The food was delicious, although a bit on the pricey side, but that is expected in this area. The service was very quick and the dishes were flavorful. The menu is limited but of high quality. The only downside is that parking was difficult to find in the area. Overall, I would rate the food as 5 out of 5.
