Montell's Pizza - Somerset

I spoke with Megan, who informed me that it was just oregano that had spilled on the pizza, as she was the one who cut it. I insisted that neither my son nor I wanted to eat this pizza, but she said all they could do was offer a partial discount on a new pizza. They couldn't simply replace it with another extra-large pizza just because oregano was spilled on it. I told her it looked like a whole cup of oregano, but all she could say was sorry. We've spent thousands of dollars at Montells over the years, but that's no longer going to happen. I can't even recall the last time I complained about a food order. I understand that food service workers have tough jobs, but this was just unacceptable. It’s absurd that they recognized their mistake yet still sent out the wrong order, and even more ridiculous that they refused to rectify the situation.

Lifting the cheese, I discovered what looked like pesto underneath. I called Montell and explained that it seemed something had baked into the pizza and asked if I could get a new one. I told her that neither my son nor I wanted to eat it, and she said the best they could offer was a partial refund, but they couldn’t just give us another pizza because of the spilled oregano. I explained it was more than just a sprinkle—it looked like a whole cup of oregano. She simply apologized. After spending thousands of dollars at Montell over the years, I can confidently say we won’t be ordering again. I can’t even remember the last time I complained about a food order. I understand that people in food service have tough jobs, but this is just unacceptable. It’s outrageous that they recognized their mistake but still sent the pizza out, and even more outrageous that they refused to correct it.
