Jillian's - Somerset

Jillian's Grill in Somerset has great potential, but it’s overshadowed by several issues. The unmistakable smell of blue cheese permeates the entire place, and there are areas with unpleasant odors that are hard to ignore. While I have to admit that the service was satisfactory and the food was reasonable, the overall atmosphere leaves much to be desired. It’s clear that this restaurant needs a serious overhaul. A thorough cleaning and some important renovations could go a long way in elevating the experience. A restaurant should provide not just a meal, but an enjoyable setting, and regrettably, my visit felt more like a struggle for fresh air than a pleasant outing. 2 out of 5 stars.

Michelle, the bartender, prepared a great margarita for me. There are plenty of TVs for sports, making it a relaxed spot to hang out.

I had the clam chowder and the shrimp Mozambique both were fantastic. My server was prompt, and checked several times if I needed anything. Jillian’s is also very reasonably priced. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
