General Sam's - Somerset

The restaurant provided a stunning setting for my daughter's wedding. The location, food, and service were all fantastic!

My family was at General Sams this weekend. Beautiful venue and fantastic food. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their kindness and hospitality are unmatched. recommend.

We have brought family and friends to Sam's beautiful light show for year's. Went yesterday and it is the worst set up, confusing entrance, we were told that we could not drive through again.

If the restaurant is closed, I'll give Christened Lights 5 stars. It's a spacious restaurant with a great atmosphere, perfect for families as there are always children around. The prices are a bit high for the type of food they offer. The service is average in speed when they are busy, but pretty fast when it's quiet. The staff is always friendly.

I have serious doubts about the ethics of any establishment that shines bright spotlights onto the nearby campground. This is unacceptable. I would give a negative review if I could, as this restaurant kept my children awake until midnight while we were camping across the river. It's disgraceful and shameful that they and their customers would condone such behavior.
