El Rancho Market - SOLVANG

This is one of the best shopping opportunities during the visit of Santa Ynez. The bakery has the best mango mousse cake we get every time. This last visit we have the Jumbo sweets onions, which are 8 to 10 inches in diameter and locally grown. Definitely busy at noon as they make custom burritos and sandwiches.

This fantastic market offers delicious sandwiches that exceed expectations. I stopped by for a quick breakfast, and I was not disappointed! They have a wide variety of unique snacks and wines to choose from. The coffee shop outside serves generous portions of coffee and smoothies as well.

Residents of Solvang and nearby areas are thrilled to have this market. The meat and produce sections look fantastic, and I can't overlook the deli either.

On the way back to Los Angeles we stopped a supermarket to eat while we drive home. There were some supermarkets on the same street. but this was something different than others. There were so many good things here freshly made on site sushi or bread. This place has everything. I saw one of my favorites that it was Cinnamon Roll right in front of me. I couldn't resist having to buy one. It was bigger than a regular size of donut stores. This was about 10 inches high and you could see the cinnamon around him and white cream on top. Yum. This business was clean, people who worked here very helpful and super friendly. This store was one to do on my lists while we were here in Solvang, but the last few minutes changed here... This place loved it as much as Trader's Joe you saw in the city, but here they have cooked food ready to eat.

Ever since moving to the valley, the employees here have been nothing but helpful and welcoming. Working in a culture driven business, I greatly appreciate the staff here. Yesterday, after a distasteful experience at a local bar- the manager literally turned upset feeling to such a happy feeling. Took note of my name, said he's seen my ID in the system and how the market greatly appreciates my business. NOW that's a business that will thrive for decades to come!
