La Spia D Italia - SOLFERINO

Ristorante La Spia d'Italia was not our first choice, but turned out to be one of the best choices during our vacation. We were first the only guests in the Restaurant on a Friday evening, which concerned me a bit to start with. Also the price level when seeing the menu raised some concerns. All for no reason. My husband ordered the menu with appetizer (nice selection of 3 different sorts of Italian ham and salami), primo piatto (risotto from the a la carte green asparagus and mascarpone) and secondo piatto (fillet of Beef with spinach) for unbelievable price of 24€ including water and wine. I chose a risotto with taleggio, pears and licorice and as a secondo piatto lamb chops with grilled vegetables. We were served first an amuse geule, a simple but tasty black rice salad a nice surprise. We shared the appetizer thinly sliced and fresh, delicious. My concerns were totally vanished after tasting the risotto, absolutely fantastic both of them. In contrary to many other Italian restaurants it is possible to order risotto just for one person, which is superb. A real risotto heaven. The main courses were also very high quality lamb chops nicely grilled and tasty, fillet of beef very tender and cooking degree exactly as wished. Side dishes were delicious, but almost too much after the risotto. We definetly had a wonderful evening in the restaurant the food is excellent, service was great and the bill was astonishing; below 70€ with lots of wine. The atmosphere is certainly not luxurious, but the quality of food is top! For a good risotto the best place to go!

Sono andato a cena in questo ristorante con alcuni amici e devo dire che è stato incredibile. Il servizio è stato piacevole e veloce e posso dire che si mangia veramente da Dio. Consiglio il filetto della spiga, molto ricco e particolare.

Hotel ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo pulito e tranquillo locale, ristorante con cucina molto buona e personale cordiale. sicuramente per consigliare di rimanere e visitare luoghi di interesse locale.

Un giovane chef in cucina, ma quello che può fare. piatti ben bilanciati e ben presentati senza eccedere in quantità per farvi apprezzare tutto quello che ordinate. I prezzi sono corretti. un posto dove sarei felice di tornare
