Mykel's - Soldotna

This is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite with friends. The atmosphere is fantastic, with seating arrangements that create a sense of privacy while you enjoy your conversations. The servers are always great and well-informed about the menu and drink options. I’m never let down when I choose to eat here. It’s my top choice for brunch!

If you're a meat lover, this is the place to be in Soldotna! My wife and I dined here for an early birthday celebration. I ordered a 20 oz ribeye paired with a raspberry palmer drink, cooked medium rare, while my wife had a 10 oz ribeye cooked well done (I can already hear the gasps about that choice for a ribeye!) along with a red hot chili pepper drink. The ribeye was incredibly tender; I could almost cut it with a fork. For dessert, I enjoyed a crème brûlée while she had a decadent fudge brownie mountain. The staff was fantastic, making our early birthday celebration even more special!

I had a wonderful dining experience. The smoked salmon and artichoke dip was incredibly flavorful. The yellowfin tuna appetizer was outstanding, and the salmon with a light citrus glaze and capers was also delicious. I appreciated the artwork on the walls, and the service was attentive and efficient.

The staff was great, but the food was a C, $150 per lb King Crab should be amazing, our was meh. The supplements were tasteless, the bread is blazing. Our most expensive dinner was ever a disappointment, as the taste was delicious under my expectations.

Our dinner was amazing. Jamie was our server and was very attentive despite the fact the restaurant was packed. We had the prime rib bites, Caesar salad, prawn dinner, and stroganoff. Everything was delicious. Would definitely go back again soon.
