Brauhaus Zwiebel - Soest

This restaurant is what most local people I met recommend when You ask them about a restaurant in Soest. I have been there a couple of times for various occaisons.The place itself is a medieval house with mostly small rooms on two levels, which adds a lot to the atmosphere, but leaves little room for bigger groups.The food is essentially a lot of Schnitzel (pork) dishes. And all of them are huge. The downside is, that contrary to public belief the Schnitzel are average at most and tend to be a little to dry. This is usally compensated by loads of sauce, which does an excellent job in covering the shortcomings of the Schnitzel. Most people love it. For me, it is ok, but they could really do better with the pork.I never tried the beer.Parking is an issue. The lot is across the street and very small and difficult the park. Overall, I still like the place and its atmosphere.

The beer is really delicious. unfortunately we had to wait for the food. one of the services it served at another table. when paying attention to the fact that an apology would have been nice. it can always happen, but then please inform the guests immediately. my black medals were unfortunately also on one side black.

The visit in the wobbles was very disappointing. the air in this restaurant is to cut thin, the service an absolute catastrophe! there was no visual contact, no friendly smile. eating is more complete. the portions small and lovingly dressed. the prices are expensive. absolutely not justified. the beer is always very tasty :-) so: who likes to sit cramped and warm and does not put a value on service should definitely be there!

The brewhouse I would best describe as a partykneipe. large rustic tables for large groups, waitresses, bringing 8 glasses and 5 teller incl. pad and servier dishes can clean. there are zig different types of bier and biermic drinks perfect for trying and celebrating. the selection of the diners fits the thema brewhouse: good-bourgeois and rustic. the quality is perfect from the dose, sauces and supplements are comfort but properly prepared and presented. absolute highlight are the huge portions. no one is hungry. price with 10,- eur for toast with meat or 15,- for carving with soße fits together. salat comes without dressing - this is for self-service on the table. personal is as nice as possible but partly heavily loaded when the load is full, as this is distributed locally over several etagens.

Quality of the food best, quantity more than plentiful and an operation that makes the work quite obviously fun. attentive, well organized, very friendly, the hospitable is king. Thank you, we felt very comfortable!
