Delicious dinner with good choices for vegetarians. Excellent salad bar and great wines. The service (our waiter Philip) was exceptional. Large buffet selection for breakfast no lunch required!!
We were here for a week on half board. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and an extremely high standard. Extensive selection at breakfast and a beautiful 5-course menu always beautifully presented every evening. I notice there are a few comments to the restaurant manager here. He is actually okay, though not very chatting, only an acquired taste, but if you get to know him and make him smile, he is absolutely fine.
Well finished a 2-week stay and regretted that the hotel experience became worse on the day. Staff was terrible, the same common theme of day one, no visible management, that is not a family business anymore from a company cost saving. No in room toiletries except the first day, although the rooms were cleaned daily. The restaurant manager is a tyrant of the note and he was rude and arrogant offers no warmth for any diner. We crossed the fee of €2.50 for daily tap water at dinner and he suggested that it was not negotiable in the restaurant! The food was pretty good, but a little repetitive. Afternoon snack at 3.30 p.m. was pathetic, soup no bread, that was it! Other days salad in winter, the worst thing I've ever experienced and that was our 22nd. Skitour to Austria! Bar service was very sporadic and we saved a fortune by missing out-dinner drinks and wine at the table. A bottle on average red or white up from € 50 and nothing special. The sauna area and the steam rooms opened only at 4 a.m., so a whole day was spent for the open time if you were not ski, the steam bath temps were a waste of time, but I would recommend the sauna. No teas in the leisure area only cold water and a bowl of peanuts. Free parking was a plus, but it is about the only thing that is free. Ski lifts next door were a plus, but traffic noise was terrible, as the hotel overlooks the main road through the valley and there is no view of the suites. We visited the Hotel ENZIAN at the other end of the city on the slopes, also 4 stars superior and what a difference. We had massages, lunch and an afternoon in leisure and on the basis of the welcome we booked in December 2020 for 2 weeks. Ski lifts next door and ski back directly. Regina has four other venues in Solden, Apartments as well. Based on our experience, I would recommend avoiding something locally with the Regina name. By the way, they don't read Tripadvisor reviews.
