Maverik Adventure's First Stop

The Monica reviewer down there is just envious of the success the store is having. I as a manager will stand by my employees and store that I am taking care of and will say if anyone ever has a problem to bring it forward to management and I personally will take care of it or see to it. Monica never brought issues to managements attention. I believe lack of education tends to be the cause of people's complaints. So let me help educate and let's communicate.

I understand that there 's been some management changes, and I think we 've all been patient and understanding for the last year. But I 'm sorry, This Maverick is awful!! It used to be so clean, and customer service WAS excellent cashiers were friendly and the store was always fully stocked. Now, its so filthy and the service. (Or lack of is just ridiculous! Customers are always waiting long periods of time to be waited on, even at the pump! Don 't bother paying for your fuel inside- do it at the pump and just plan on making 2 separate purchases if your planning on buying something in store, assuming they even have what u need! Fountains are always broken, and very little variety in their deli food. The manager is always out smoking with several employees as the lines inside get longer. Its commonplace to stand in line with several others, waiting on one register, while the manager and an employee or two stand around talking and ignore the angry, waiting customers. Supposed to be a convenience store. It is anything but that anymore

We got locked out of our car and it was late. One of the workers came and help unlock our car. Thank you for your outstanding service.

Normally this store frustrates the heck out of me, but today I was totally impressed with an employee, Kennedy Smith. He's a nice young man and today the other employee didn't show up for work, but Kennedy didn't skip a beat and was doing a stellar job running the whole store on Christmas Day when I'm sure he'd love to have been home with his family. I was so impressed with him. I hope he is appreciated. He deserves a pay raise.

It seems this is one of the big gathering spots in Soda. Not only a great place to fuel up, but to chat with the locals. Very friendly people :
