Golden Chick - Snyder

The roast chicken and mac and cheese were outstanding. However, we didn’t get enough gravy and mashed potatoes. The rolls should be packaged separately, as they always end up getting squished. We absolutely adore the poppers. The first time we had them, they were amazing, but this time they were a letdown. I’m not sure if they changed the recipe or overcooked them, but there was barely any cheese inside; they were nearly empty. We were really impressed at first, but it seems that the quality of both the food and service is starting to decline.

I definitely plan to return! I honestly can't find anything to complain about this restaurant. The baked chicken was incredibly juicy, and each bite was perfectly seasoned. The dirty rice was delicious, and even the chicken salad was amazing. I also appreciated the complimentary ice cream cone! Thank you once again—I’ll be back soon. I picked up a cookie as well, but I'm too full to enjoy it right now; I'll save it for later!

The food was delicious and served incredibly quickly. The staff even commented that they love my name!

We were the only car in the drive-thru and there wasn't a single customer in the restaurant, yet it still took 20 minutes for us to get our food. When we returned to our hotel, we found that my husband's order was incorrect, and our food wasn't even warm. He had to drive back and wait an additional 15 minutes for a replacement. He noticed that the staff didn't seem to care about the mistake. Upon his return, his food was only barely warm, even though it was just a 5-minute drive back. It was incredibly disappointing to spend over $30 on lukewarm food that was also partially incorrect.

The food is consistently served hot, and the service is quick. The dining area and restrooms are always clean. Golden Chick in Snyder, Texas, has become my favorite restaurant. I will definitely keep coming back.
