The gentleman who took the order was very intoxicated and fast. The girls cooking were fast and efficient and very pleasant at handing over my order. I could say that this place was popular when I would drive past to work and see the line. Definitely a good place to stop and eat. It's just a car ride, but there are many picnic tables nearby if you want to park and eat. No public toilets nearby.
As many others have said, waiting can be long. Food is good, but if I see a long line that can sometimes go to the street, I'm going somewhere else. I was pleasantly surprised that they began to make gluten-free rolls recently. There is a nice field close to sitting with a few benches while you eat when you do not eat in the car. Some weekends there is a mobile daycare in the game that sells plants and trees.
Burger was good, but not fantastic... good for the price (6.99) imo. The onion rings were the smooth skinned variety (not my favorite, but you do) with a somewhat small part for the $4 price day, that is, the tartaric acid was good and everything was made hot fresh. 4/5 would visit again if on the mood.
After I drove over 100 times, I decided to try. Service was friendly and food came fast. Shakes are good and thick. Burgers are tasty and not much blows, but they are not confusing what is going on. Fries are worth going on and getting only the onion rings. Hotdog is decent enough and satisfy the young picky eater.
I remember eating here for the first time back in 1989 on a warm, sunny summer day. Me and an old friend, that has since passed away, stopped in here. We especially liked the mushrooms! Good burgers and shakes too. I remember it like it was yesterday. Was planning on eating here again but I guess I waited to long, darn. Miss it already ? and I wish them the best. Thank you for serving the community all these years. Love to support local small businesses like this one. Hate to see it go. Farewell King Charles.
