Spice Root Indian Restaurant Bar

We had a great meal on a quiet mid week winter evening (early August) Food flavor was excellent service was good. We love Indian food generally seriously this was at least as good as any we have had across NZ. In value terms probably number one! Interestingly, the owner wasn’t there, which is possibly the best test ever. So good, we went back the next night, met the owner the result …. Same again, perfect Looking forward to a return to Snells Beach again!

A reliable, comfortable Indian restaurant. Food is nice but nothing special just really reliable Indian food served with a smile. Very good prices. Would go again!

Delicious food! Ordered the prawn maluburi and chicken korma with peshwari and butter naan super tasty! Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Food was very good, but service was slow, and when ordering drinks, they had run out of quite a few drinks. Staff were friendly and we will be going bk.

Ordered take aways on our way to Mahurangi East, not much choice in Snells Beach, so no expectations... But what a positive surprise! The quality of the food was amazing, the service was super friendly, very enjoyable dinner thank you.
