Zama Mexican Cuisine Margarita - Smyrna

A great place to get good food and specialty drinks. The service is great, too. It's our go to place for a weekend night out.

Food was ok. Service was slow. We had a large group though so maybe that's why.

I'm completely disgusted with this restaurant, and mainly the bartender Byron. I always order a specific tequila, which cost $9, and today I decided to spice it up and get it made into the watermelon margarita. Unbeknownst to me they would charge me an additional $10 just to do so. I feel that is completely ridiculous and unreasonable. At best they should make the customer aware, and give them the option if the still want the drink. Then he upcharged me for a larger size, without asking, which also contributed to the price fluctuation. Then the manager was of no help, and could not justify the price.

Delicious empanadas and carnitas! The service wasn't bad, but the server was more focused on talking to friends who had come to sit in his section which cause us to have to wait for drink refills and or check.

The food was delicious, and the drinks did exactly what it was supposed to do, and I only had one!
