Mcdonald's - Smyrna

Sadly they were overwhelmed and I had to go in the restuarant to get my curbside order after 15 minutes. The fries and drink were very good and they apologized when they realized noone took it out to me.

I visited the McDonald's in Smyrna, DE, on Saturday morning and ordered a steak meal. However, what I received was just a steak and a hashbrown. I had expected a sandwich since I paid for a meal. If you're looking to get your money's worth, I recommend going to a different McDonald's. It's disappointing, as I've usually received decent food from this location.

I regret to say that most of the employees here seem quite disengaged. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless every other option is unavailable, as there's a good chance you'll receive only part of your order. I believe giving this place 2 stars is more than fair, especially since I usually have no problem giving 5 stars. This opinion isn't based on a single visit; it's formed from multiple experiences.

The only issue I encountered was that a car in front of me in the drive-thru wasn't moving while the second lane continued to order and advance. I thought the cashier could have suggested to them to either drive around when they were ready or come inside to avoid delaying the line. Many of us use the drive-thru for a quick meal, after all. That said, the food was delicious as always!

Typical McDonald 's experience and typical food. We stopped in for a rest break on a drive up from Virgina. This is one of those newer cafe locations with the self service kiosks. Restrooms were decent, food was ok, service was ok. Not much to share. Wedon 't usually stop at McDonald 's much anymore (food isn 't what it used to be) but it was the first thing we saw and reallyneeded the rest break. This location is about 2 miles off the highway.
