The menu had plenty of options to suit everyone's taste, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome by calling me "hun." There were also various seating choices. My wife ordered the blue cheese mushroom burger, without the bun, while I converted their BLT into a BT sandwich on white bread (not toasted) with extra mayo, accompanied by coleslaw. The food was excellent, and our total for the meal and soft drinks came to $24. Overall, I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5.
The Dr. Pepper tasted oddly like fish water, and the owner was unkind about it. I managed to force down my sandwich, but my husband couldn't even eat his meal—it was that unpleasant. We won’t be coming back. It was a terrible first experience. We ended up taking our food to go so we could grab drinks from the convenience store instead.
The menu is extensive, offering a little something for everyone. Each time I dine here or order takeout, I find the staff to be friendly and the food consistently good. There's also a nice play area for kids outside. The only drawback is that the menus on their website are outdated and don't show the current prices!
I stopped by while traveling and performing in Bastrop and enjoyed a lovely meal during my visit. As a vegan, I ordered a salad.
The service was quick and delightful, and the food was amazing! Everyone left with happy stomachs.
